What is a Spirits Tasting?
In partnership with Somerset Schoolhouse Speakeasy we offer a variety of spirits tasting events for every taste and interest.
- Events are held at the Somerset Schoolhouse in Paola, Kansas.
- Minimum group size is 6 people (Participants must be at least 21 years old)
- Tasting events are guided by certified whiskey experts
- Everything is provided by The Classic Dram & Somerset Schoolhouse
- 6 samples per participant are included in each tasting event
Sommelier Series Tasting Events
- Premium Bourbon Tour - Bourbon history with samples of representative bourbons including Wheated Bourbon, Basic Bourbon, Small Batch Bourbon, Single Barrel Bourbon, Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon & High Rye Bourbon. This is a blind tasting of premium brand pours in each of the bourbon categories $50 per Person
- Confectionary Pairing - This is an add-on to the Premium Bourbon Tour where w'll be pairing local confectionary treats with premium whiskies. $15 per Person
